I was adopted by my family on November 8th, 2020. However, it wasn't always easy. I was rescued from a hoarding situation by Berea Animal Rescue Foundation. I was adopted by my family on November 8th, 2020. However, it wasn't always easy. I was rescued from a hoarding situation by Berea Animal Rescue Foundation. I was brought in with other dogs and my humans don't know much about it. When I was adopted I was put on antibiotics for kennel cough and an intestinal parasite. My tail was also matted down in certain spots and my family thinks that I was tied down by my tail before I was rescued. Even though my life didn't have the easiest start I am so happy with my family and I want to help other dogs find their furever home!
Our cause is to help all animals find their forever homes! Every animal young or old deserves a loving home. Approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized a year in the United States. That number consists of about 670,000 dogs and 860,000 cats that are laid to rest every year without a loving home. Euthanizations in US shelters

That number consists of about 670,000 dogs and 860,000 cats that are laid to rest every year without a loving home. Euthanizations in US shelters saw the most dramatic reduction in history during 2020. The national save rate is now 83% and almost half of the nation's shelters are no-kill. We want to continue to decrease the euthanization rate and increase the national save rate!

We understand that not everyone is able to take care of animals and provide the animal with proper care. However, there are still things you can do to help animals in need. One thing you can do is donate to local shelters. Shelters are always welcoming donations. You can donate pet food, blankets, toys, treats, laundry detergent, bleach, pet cleaning products, and paper towels. A lot of the time shelters will have a list of ideas and products they are in need of on their website. You can also donate money to a shelter that will be used in many ways to help the animals and to help support the shelter. Shelters also look for volunteers to come help out. Some shelters have programs where you can sign out a dog and take it on a walk. Volunteers are used to help socialize the animals in the shelter.
Even if you can't adopt a pet there is still something you can do to help animals in need!
